The final night of the Cuthbertson league promised so much, but in the end it never delivered the drama the pundits had predicted! The top three all won their games and with it Davie Mundell secured the title. With this, Davie completed an unprecedented treble – so congratulations to the team of Davie Mundell, Malcolm Noble, John Wilson & Alan Mitchell (Super Sub Billy Smith).
The two remaining promotion places were secured by Wallace Gilbert & Andy Muir.
At the other end of the table is where we witnessed the only movement of the night, father of the year Jim Kirkwood gubbed his son Craig, escaping relegation at Craig’s expense.
Dougie Reid put in a valiant effort to beat the drop only to lose in the last end against Andy Muir, as a result Dougie along with Iain Dunlop and Craig Kirkwood were all relegated.
